New students should arrive at the Victoria International Airport (YYJ). The airport is located on the Saanich Peninsula, north of Victoria, and is about a 30-60 minute drive from where most students would reside (in the Westshore or Sooke). Students who are residing in Homestay accommodation would be greeted upon arrival at the airport by their Homestay family.

Please refer to the Arrivals and Departures calendar prior to booking flights, as early arrivals or late departures cannot generally be accommodated.

For visiting parents who would like to explore the city of Victoria, there are many hotels located in downtown Victoria, which provides a convenient base for exploring the region. The main tourist attractions are within walking distance from Victoria’s Inner Harbour and public bus transportation is available to get out to the Westshore and Sooke regions. Parents who would like to stay closer to the schools and Homestay families might want to consider one of the following options in the Westshore or Sooke (note that renting a car is recommended to be able to get around conveniently):
